Meet Olivia, Co-Founder of Little Livz

 

Meet Olivia aka Liv

Breed: Jack Russell cross Foxy Terrior (Girl) 

 

Age: 7 years 
How I got my name: I was named after Detective Olivia Benson from Law & Order, Special Victims TV Show. Sage's Mum, Ella named me and if I had been a boy my name would have been Elliot.

I love: Comfort and fun! Comfortable beds, warm blankets, cuddles and most of all I LOVE my squeaky toys and snacks.

I started my life out homeless and living on the streets, bundled up in a bag with my siblings. It was a difficult start, but we did our best to stay warm and safe.

However, it wasn't long before the lady decided that she could no longer care for us, and we were surrendered to Monica's Rescue.

That's where my new family found me. They were looking for a dog with the potential to be a therapy companion, and I fit the bill. I was a small girl dog in a house with two big Australian Cattle Dog brothers who weren't exactly thrilled about my arrival. But, I won them over with my charm and playful personality, and we were inseparable until we lost them in 2020 due to old age.

My big brother Puppy, whose name was originally Bandit but was called Puppy for so long that he forgot his name, was 17 when he left us. He was my snuggle buddy at night and we always shared the same bed. 

Despite my tough start in life, I'm grateful to have found my forever home and my true calling as a companiondog. I may be small, but I have a big heart, and I'm bringing joy and happiness to everyone I meet.

Special Skills: I have a knack for knowing when people are feeling down, depressed, stressed or anxious and I like to do what I can to make them feel better. I take my job very seriously. Whether it's snuggling up with someone on the couch, or just being silly, I'm always there to bring a smile to their faces.

As I LOVE to have fun playing with toys and puzzles,and I like to see people being happy, I stock my shop with items I believe make both my animal and human friends feel special, comfortable and happy.
